Bluefin

Dakota（Dakotaraptor steini，达科塔斑龙）是基于 GNOME OS 打造的 Bluefin，完全从源码使用 Apache BuildStream 组装，并发布为 bootc 镜像。它摒弃了传统的 Linux 发行版模式——没有 RPM——并设计为直接从上游来源提供软件。

这是默认的 Bluefin 体验，旨在成为现代 Linux bootc 镜像的业界标杆。

Alpha

Dakota 处于后期 alpha 阶段。提交问题 正是其核心目的——每一个运行 Dakota 的用户都是回馈到上游 GNOME、freedesktop 和内核的结构化反馈循环的一部分。如果你难以改变习惯，请使用 Bluefin Classic。

下载与安装​

你无法从其他镜像 rebased 到 Dakota——如果你当前不在 Dakota 上，需要从 ISO 重新安装。

每个镜像都通过 GitHub Actions OIDC 使用 cosign 无密钥签名进行签名。可用以下命令验证：

镜像流​

Dakota 使用 freedesktop-sdk 版本作为其基础版本（例如 25.08.11 表示 2025 年 8 月大版本更新的第 11 次发布）。

游戏流​

游戏模式镜像加入了 Open Gaming Collective 内核（sched_ext、ntsync）、带 32 位兼容库和控制器 udev 规则的 Steam、gamescope 与 Steam 大屏模式 gamescope 会话、GameMode / MangoHud / vkBasalt、InputPlumber，以及首次启动时从 Flathub 安装 Lutris、Heroic、Bottles、ProtonPlus、Protontricks 和 GOverlay。游戏内核流也提供 dakota:btw 别名。

反馈循环​

当你的硬件上出现问题时，三条命令会将证据反馈到上游：

命令作用
ujust report捕获你的系统状态并打开一个预填的问题。
ujust confirm <issue>告诉团队你的硬件遇到了相同的问题——添加硬件指纹，不重复提交。
ujust verify <issue>在夜间版本推出修复后，确认它在你的机器上有效。

无遥测、无回拨。每条报告在离开你的机器前都会经你审阅，存放在你拥有的 gist 中，且可随时删除。当三个用户独立对某个修复运行 ujust verify 时，该问题会以真正的置信度关闭。详见完整的反馈循环设计。

Final Step: Reboot

  1. After running an available image switch command above, reboot to activate the deployment:
    sudo systemctl reboot
